Matt is happy to be returning to SART for this production! While theatres were closed during the pandemic, he kept the creative juices flowing with a few virtual readings

through Attic Salt and The Magnetic Theatre and since August of last year has performed S'Wonderful at HART as the title role in David: The Faces of Love at the Wortham Center for the Performing Arts and as George Bailey in It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play at Black Mountain Center for the Arts. While starting off as a theatre and musical theatre performer, much of his professional career was spent in opera across the US and Europe. Other favorite Asheville area performances include Uncle Billy in Miracle at Bedford Falls with SART, Nicky in Avenue Q at ACT, Monty Navarro in A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder! at Parkway Playhouse, and Gabe in Dinner with Friends at Attic Salt. He is represented for Film/TV by Screen Artists Talent and looks forward to the continued return to LIVE theatre!!
