What’s your favorite part of this show and why?

My "tattoo" monologue! It's hilarious and the first time Signe stands up to Mrs. Snustad

What about this show do you think will stick with audiences?

That Minnesota accents are hilarious and the food named in the show sounds gross.

How excited are you to return to this show? Does anything feel different this time around?

SO SO SO EXCITED!!!! It's such a happy reunion and marvelous getting to put this show in again! My mom may be different, but she is an awesome and hilarious lady and I'm so thrilled to have her in the show! LOVE YA CAROL!

How did you get into theatre?

It runs in the family, my brother got me to audition for our hometown's community theater company when I was 13 and I fell in love with it! I got my BFA in Musical Theater from Mars Hill University in 2018.

What’s your favorite thing to do in the area?

Run!!!

What have you loved about working on this production?

Connecting with the cast and getting to use a Minnesota accent!

What have you loved so far about working with Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre?

The community! Everyone cares so much and we all put our hearts into each show we do! The love and support can be felt by everyone working in SART!

Biography

I attended Mars Hill University for musical theater! I graduated in 2018, I moved to New York City later that year, and stayed until the lovely Chelsey Lee Gaddy hired me for the first rounds of Church Basement Ladies with SART in 2020. Alas, covid hit the world and I stayed home in North Carolina. I now live in Winston-Salem and I sing jazz around the triad area as much as I possibly can! I have been lucky enough to find such talented musical individuals in my area to perform with! And even more amazing; I have found the love of my life, Jeff Jessup. We are engaged and getting married at the end of this year on December 7th! He has been the greatest support in my life, along with my family who I love dearly with everything in me.
