OWEN THEATRE

The historic Owen theatre is an intimate space. It is often said by our patrons that "there really isn't a bad seat..." in our house! In the diagram of our theatre all of the seats highlighted in blue are our premium seats, the seats highlighted in green our our standard seats and any that are highlighted in grey are unavailable for reserving.

Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre (SART) is a professional theatre company in residence at the historic Owen Theatre in Mars Hill, North Carolina. Established in 1975 by director and theatre educator Jim Thomas, SART has produced scores of original works, plays & musicals over the years many portraying the rich culture and heritage of Southern Appalachia.
