What is your favorite line in this show and why?

"Nothing can be restored unless the old veneers are stripped away." This bit of wisdom reveals the necessity for honesty with myself and others if I want to improve or be restored to my true authentic self.

What do you love about working with SART?

The friendliness and the beauty of Mars Hill and the area.

Tell us about your character. What’s your favorite thing about them? What do you love about getting to portray them?

Roz takes what is, adds her creativity, and makes it new and better. I like playing a Kentucky gal. My mother was from a small town fifty miles west of Harlan, KY, where Roz lives. She had a lot of traits like Roz. She came from a poor background, but love and faith enabled her to dig deep and make life fun.

How did you get into theatre?

My parents both liked to act. I took drama classes starting at age 6. I attended NCSA for high school and majored in drama. I felt destined.

What’s your favorite thing to do in the area?

Watch the seasons change.

What about this production are you the most excited about?

Feeling the audience's reactions.

Being someone else.
