Professionals:  Professionals are expected to provide a resume, headshot, and a monologue. If you plan to audition for a musical, please also prepare 16-32 bars of a song and bring sheet music or prerecorded tracks.

Community Members: Ever wanted to be a part of a SART production but don’t have any professional experience? This summer we are opening up our auditions to community members who would like to volunteer their time to be a part of the magic. Being in a SART production means working alongside incredibly talented professionals from WNC & all over the country. The only requirements for our unpaid volunteer auditions are clothes you can move in and a willingness to explore.

We will provide you with excerpts from our shows (called “sides”) and have you try reading a scene or two. We will also teach a short dance combination to get a sense of how well you move.

Video Submissions: If you are auditioning from out of town, or cannot attend physical auditions, please send a resume, headshot, short monologue, 16 bars of a song, and a dance reel (if you have one) to casting@sartplays.com
