Six Special Ways to Support SART

1. Monthly Gifts

You can support SART with a budget-friendly monthly gift of ANY amount that fits your overall giving plans – and your gift plan will be updated at the beginning of the calendar year or at a time of your choice. Monthly gifts – large OR small – make a BIG difference! Use the online form to enter your gift intention or call us at 828-689-1232 for assistance

2. Matching Gifts

A workplace matching gift program is an easy, efficient way to double (or possibly even triple) your own giving. Check with the human resources department of you or your spouse’s employer to determine if they participate in a matching gift program and to obtain the necessary forms.

3. IRA Giving

Individual Retirement Account (IRA) giving to SART is welcomed, quite easy, and usually tax-advantaged for the donor.  If you are now at least aged 72 (as of Dec. 31, 2022), and have an IRA account, you are most likely already taking advantage of the income tax savings in charitable giving through your Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) each year. Gifts may be made in the form of personal checks from your IRA account checkbook mailed to SART or direct deposits to SART handled through your IRA account manager or financial institution. 4. Gifts of Stocks, Bonds & Mutual Funds

Giving a gift of stocks, mutual fund shares, bonds or other securities will allow you to leave a lasting impact on our community, our region, and our youth for years to come. Contact your broker or financial advisor for assistance.

5. Planned Giving

A planned gift, or legacy gift, is truly special, and enables you to make a significant impact in helping us continue to achieve and expand our mission, well into the future. Please consult with your legal or estate planning advisor for assistance with this giving plan.

6. In-Kind Gifts
